Pantai Indah Kapuk 2 (PIK2) is the development of a new city in North of Tangerang that originally being used as fishpond area. Soft clay is found covering all over the area with depth from 8 meters up to 25 meters, and is the main challenge for this project.
Vacuum Consolidation Method is chosen as the solution to overcome construction problem on the top of the existing soft clay in Pantai Indah Kapuk 2 in timely and cost efficient manner.
